Fire kills 5 in Da Lat City

VOV.VN - A fire broke out in a house on Tran Hung Dao St, Central Highlands’ Da Lat city at 7.30pm on March 12, killing five people.

Neighboring residents heard a big explosion and saw flames rising from the house of Nguyen Van Thang on Tran Hung Dao St.

Upon receiving the news, rescue forces, firefighters and 10 fire trucks were sent to the scene. The fire was put under control after one hour and a half.

Rescue forces found five deaths inside the house.

The victims are sent to hospital.




The Secretary of Lam Dong provincial Party Committee and the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee are on the scene to direct the firefighting efforts.
