VOV.VN - Two pilots were killed after a military training aircraft Su-22 operated by the Vietnam Air Defence-Air Force Service’s Regiment 921 crashed in Nghia Dan district in the central province of Nghe An.

The accident site is a few hundred metres from a residential area. None of the residents have reported injuries as a result of the crash. |

The two pilots on board were named as Lieutenant Colonel Khuat Manh Tri, 40, from Hanoi and Senior Lieutenant-Colonel Pham Giang Nam, 46 from Thai Binh province. |
The Ministry of National Defense directs the Vietnam Air Defence-Air Force Service to coordinate with relevant units to carry out rescue work and overcome the aftermath of the incident. |
