Dong Nai police bust cross-border drug ring
VOV.VN - Police in southern Dong Nai province have broken up a cross-border drug trafficking network smuggling narcotics from Cambodia into Vietnam and arrested several individuals, including a particularly dangerous fugitive.

The operation began with the July 22 arrest of a man caught red-handed trading drugs in Tam Hiep ward. Subsequent raids led to the capture of additional individuals involved in the ring, including a wanted fugitive apprehended on July 30.
Searches of multiple residences uncovered large quantities of drugs and weapons, including hundreds of ecstasy pills, ketamine, crystal meth, two firearms, dozens of bullets, and drug paraphernalia.
According to initial statements, the traffickers had purchased the narcotics from a supplier based in Cambodia. Police are expanding the investigation to track down remaining members of the network.
