Da Nang hosts Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Festival, Japan Job Day 2022

VOV.VN - The 7th Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Festival and Japan Job Day 2022 kicked off in the central coastal city of Da Nang on June 17.

More than 4,000 representatives from the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association, the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang, the Japan International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam, and the Japan Business Association in Da Nang joined the event.

A broad range of  cultural exchange activities between Vietnam and Japan, alongside seminars and workshops were  organized as part of the event to offer advice to Vietnamese students studying abroad and job opportunities in Japan.

On the occasion, 12 Japanese enterprises have registered to recruit human resources with more than 650 job and career opportunities.

More than 500 students majoring in nursing, tourism, business administration, construction, electronics, and information technology participated in face-to-face and online interviews and apply for internships in Japan in 2022 and 2023 at the job bazaar. 

Luong Minh Sam, President of Dong A University's Council said the event serves an ideal venue for students to gain more insights into Japanese culture and people as well as the East Asian nation's working culture.

During the event, managers and businesses discussed a score of measures aimed at training workforce and sending Vietnamese students to Japan.
