Cuban doctors to work in Vietnam

The Thu Cuc International General Hospital and the Cuban Ministry of Health’s SMC Company signed a contract on March 16 on sending Cuban doctors to work in Vietnam.

Under the deal, Cuban doctors will work at the Thu Cuc International General Hospital in the fields of obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, cosmetic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and family doctor.

A representative at the Hanoi Department of Health said Hanoi will create favourable conditions for Cuban doctors to work in Vietnam.

Marta Covas, Cuba’s Deputy Minister of Health affirmed the Cuban Ministry of Health will provide necessary assistance to bring Cuban doctors to Vietnam as soon as possible.

Established in August, 2011, the Thu Cuc International General Hospital is an affiliate of Zinnia Corp with a total area of 5,500 sq.m. and modern health equipment.
