Chinese seaman rescued in Vietnam’s waters
A Chinese seaman was saved by Vietnamese vessel QB 91223TS captained by Nguyen Trong Hieu from the central province of Quang Binh on July 27.
The distressed sailor was found exhausted and floating out at Vietnam’s sea.
Zheng Zuba from China’s Hainan province has been received by the Department of Foreign Affairs of Quang Binh province for medical care and other procedures to hand him over to China.
Zheng, who was sailing aboard Dan Zhou 13017, fell overboard on July 26 night, and was in critical health when rescued by the Vietnamese fishermen.
