Charity art program supports vulnerable kids
VOV.VN - A special charity art program was held at Hanoi’s Cultural Friendship Palace on January 25, raising funds to support orphans and disadvantaged children.

30 poor pupils from Hanoi received scholarships and gifts from Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Viet Tien and President of Hanoi People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc. |
20 afflicted children from Hanoi received savings books worth VND10 million each and other gifts from city. |

The city also presents 100,000 chairs, providing funds of more than VND13 billion to cultural houses and 2,000 gifts worth VND1 billion to pupils at boarding schools in ten provinces. |
Hanoi is determined to build and repair houses for 4,046 poor households with a total financial backing of more than VND163 billion. |
As a result of the program, more than VND103 billion has been mobilized from philanthropic organisations, businesses, and benefactors. |
