‘Buy Watermelon Campaign’ supports farmers in Quang Ngai
VOV.VN -Young Nguyen Thi Loan is leading a campaign to support farmers who have been devastated and are still recuperating from last year’s floods in the central province of Quang Ngai.

The campaign is providing support by purchasing farmers watermelons and auctioning them off to benevolent donors to raise badly needed funds to help them get back on their feet. |

It’s a campaign organized by the Ham Rong Volunteer Youth. |

The volunteers gather tons of watermelons from local farmers in Quang Ngai, who are struggling to sell the produce. |

Then they sell them to benefactors in Hanoi. |
 |

So far, the volunteers have sold nearly 40 tons of watermelons. |
 |

Loan buys 3.5 tons. |
 |

She says she will donate them to students at her old school in the province of Thai Binh. |
