BritCham Vietnam fun run to raise money for charity
VOV.VN - The BritCham Vietnam Charity Fun Run 2023 is due to be held on November 5 at the British University of Vietnam’s campus in Ecopark in Van Giang district of Hung Yen province, as announced on October 19 by the event’s organising board.
The run is an annual fundraising event organized by the British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (BritCham Vietnam) in support of various charity projects throughout the country. These projects encompass fields such as education, health, natural disaster prevention, and all work aimed at improving the lives of Vietnamese people.
The first BritCham Charity Fun Run was held back in 2000 and has continued until now. For the last 22 years it has been one of the biggest charity events in the country.
Since its inception the event has gone on to attract more than 130,000 runners and raised more than VND13 billion, equal to US$533,868, for charitable activities in Vietnam in the process.
Participants will compete in the five km run or walk, with tickets for adults being VND350,00, equal to US$14.3, and VND200,000, equal to US$8.21, for children.
