Blaze rips through Bac Ha apartment building in Hanoi

VOV.VN - A huge fire broke out on the 18th floor of the CT3 Bac Ha apartment building in Mo Lao Ward, Ha Dong District, Hanoi on May 25.
The blaze was sparked on the 18th floor of the CT3 Bac Ha apartment building at around 4:40pm on May 25. |
According to witnesses, black smoke suddenly spewed from the 18th floor, before spreading to others. |
As soon as the alarm was raised, the local department of fire fighting and prevention mobilized firefighters and 6 fire engines to the scene to battle the blaze. |
The fire-damaged kitchen was covered in a thick layer of black ash. |
The doors and ceiling were charred by the fire. |
The bedroom was destroyed. |

The heat of the fire caused glass to fall down. |
The 18th floor is a messy scene after the fire, many apartments such as 1606 and 1607 were completely gutted. |
The fire was finally extinguished at around 8pm on May 25. |
The authorities are reporting property damage and collecting statements from witnesses and residents as they investigate the cause of the fire. |
