(VOV) -3,000 Vietnamese and 5,600 Chinese youngsters are joining the 2nd Vietnam-China Youth Festival in China’s Guangxi province from November 24-27.

The focus is on their dream of building a bright future, with a view to strengthening bilateral traditional friendship, mutual understanding and trust, especially among the young people from both countries.

After the opening ceremony, the Vietnamese delegation was divided into seven groups to visit the seven cities of Liuzhou, Beihai, Qinzhou, Guigang, Yulin, Fangchenggang, and Chongzuo in Guangxi province.

They paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his memorial in Longzhou district, Chongzuo city, and called at a big border market in the China-ASEAN free trade area.

During their stay in China, the Vietnamese delegation attended a dialogue on industrial development, held cultural exchanges and music and dance performances, and joined local peers in friendship tree-planting and other environment protection activities.
