VOV.VN - A conference was held in Hanoi on July 12 reviewing 10 years of implementing the Anti-Corruption Law during which delegates emphasized the results of the fight against corruption.
They underlined the importance of the involvement of the whole political system and the public in combating corruption.
Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh said, “The cause of national construction and defense is facing numerous challenges including corruption.
Corruption is eroding the people’s trust in the Party and the regime, creating the conflicts of interest, and increasing the gap between the rich and the poor."
The conference will make important recommendations on fine-tuning the anti-corruption law to submit to the National Assembly for approval.
