Another COVID-19 death brings national count to 35

VOV.VN - Another coronavirus patient has died in central Da Nang city, the country’s biggest COVID-19 outbreak spot, taking the confirmed fatality count relating to the novel coronavirus to 35, the Ministry of Health reported on September 3 afternoon.

The deceased was a 73-year-old woman who had suffered end stage chronic renal failure, hemodialysis, hypertension, and gastrointestinal bleeding.

Her death was attributed to severe pneumonia, progressive respiratory failure caused by COVID-19 complications, and sepsis in a patient with end-stage chronic renal failure, hemodialysis, hypertension, and gastrointestinal bleeding.

So far Vietnam has recorded a total of 1,046 cases of COVID-19, including 746 cases having fully recovered from the disease, and 34 patients having died of the virus and other underlying health problems.
