AkzoNobel Vietnam joins Green Summer to decorate the city

Paint and coating company AkzoNobel Vietnam has joined Mua He Xanh (Green Summer) campaign to repaint and decorate old walls in 60 alleys and three old apartment buildings in HCMC.

AkzoNobel contributed all exterior paints for the program, which totaled more than 3,000 liters of Dulux exterior paint and 44 liters of oil paint.

Pamela Phua, general director of AkzoNobel Vietnam Decorative Paints Company, shared in a statement "We are honored to contribute to the activities of changing the city’s appearance and making it full of new energy. I hope that AkzoNobel can continue to accompany Green Summer campaign in the future to create more useful things for the community.”

Green Summer is one of the most well-known community programs of HCMC every summer. The volunteer activities of students have made practical and meaningful contributions to the community.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary, Green Summer 2018 campaign has developed a special plan with many valuable and humane activities such as building bridges, making concrete roads in rural areas and urban alleys, repairing houses and constructing water pipelines for the poor, changing the appearance of old apartments and alleys, and cleaning up contaminated canals.
