Aircraft carriers Kaga, Murasame dock in Cam Ranh for goodwill visit
VOV.VN - Japanese aircraft carriers Kaga and Murasame with 581 officers and sailors on board docked at Cam Ran International Port on November 5, beginning a three-day goodwill visit to Vietnam.
During their stay, the two ships are scheduled to perform their logistics tasks and coordinate with the Vietnam People’s Navy to conduct bilateral maritime exercises.
The two vessels belong to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF).
Before arriving in Vietnam, the JMSDF vessels made several goodwill visits to countries in the Pacific region and participated in bilateral and multilateral naval exercises.
Their visit is expected to contribute to further strengthening the friendly relationship between Japan and Vietnam.
