Aid shipment from Singapore’s government to natural disaster-hit areas comes

Representatives from Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development received at Noi Bai International Airport on September 19 relief supplies from the Singaporean government to help people in natural disaster-hit areas.

The aid shipment includes water filtration pumps, bottled water, personal hygiene kits, survival blankets, water containers, and meal rations. Arriving at noon on flight SINGA 8482 from Singapore's Changi Airport, the shipment is set to be delivered to Bac Kan province on September 20.

Since September 11, the ministry has recieved many aid shipments from international organisations and partners dedicated to disaster risk reduction, as well as embassies of Switzerland, the UK, Australia, and India, and the ASEAN Regional Disaster Response Coordination Centre (AHA Centre), Japan's International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and Samaritan’s Purse.
