51 fishermen rescued at sea off the coast of Quang Nam
VOV.VN - A squid fishing vessel with 51 fishermen on board had to be rescued after running into difficulty off of Ky Ha port in the central province of Quang Nam on April 12.

The vessel was moving towards the mainland at 2:40 in the morning when it ran into difficulty. The ship,coded QNa 91996 TS, was captained by Mr Vo Van Kiet of Tam Giang commune in Nui Thanh district.
The boat lost control and crashed into underground rocks about 1.5 nautical miles from Ky Ha port as a result of high waves. The ship’s deck was quickly flooded with water, causing those on board to panic.
After being notified about the incident, the border guard station in Ky Ha port immediately dispatched soldiers to rescue the distressed vessel.
The boat was successfully brought to shore at 5:00 with all 51 crew members aboard.
