4-alarm fire rips through Nha Trang college dorm
VOV.VN -Five students were seriously injured and remain hospitalized following a fire on April 4 that ripped through a dorm hall in the city of Nha Trang in the wee hours of the morning.
Witnesses report waking up around 2am to a burning smell and gasping for air as thick smoke filled the basement of the dormitory and quickly spread throughout the 4-storey structure.

Firefighters battled flames for several hours until the fire was finally knocked down around 5am.
Temporary housing was made available for students who were displaced by the fire.
Due to extensive smoke and water damage, parts of the dormitory are uninhabitable.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries but were able to continue battling the flames.
