30 survive in Tam Dao as bus falls into canyon
VOV.VN - Thirty people fortunately survived a bus crash in Vinh Phuc on May 29 after the bus lost control down a steep slope, hit roadside railings and fell into a nearby canyon.
The accident occurred at section Km18+450 of National Highway 2B of Ho Son commune in Tam Dao district.
The bus that was en route back to Hanoi from a trip to Tam Dao tourist resort was said to lose control, hit roadside railings and fall into a canyon.
The bus was carrying a total of 30 people on board, including the driver.
Fortunately, only two people were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Other passengers suffered minor scratches. The bus was damaged.
The traffic police of Vinh Phuc deployed forces to the scene to assist with rescue work and investigate the cause of the accident.
