30 escape sleeper bus fire on national highway
VOV.VN - As many as 30 people, including 28 passengers, on board a sleeper bus managed to escape the vehicle that suddenly caught fire in northern Ninh Binh province late on January 2.
The incident happened at midnight when the sleeper bus en route from Hanoi to Thanh Hoa was transiting Ninh Binh province.
A local officer confirmed that all 28 passengers and two drivers successfully had got out of the bus before the vehicle was burnt down by the fierce fire.
Hearing about the news, the Ninh Binh Fire Brigade dispatched firefights to the scene to put out the fire. The flame was extinguished 10 minutes later.
Investigations into the cause of the incident are underway.
