18 hospitalised after passenger bus overturns in Central Highlands
VOV.VN - Eighteen people have been hospitalised for emergency treatment after their passenger bus overturned in Gia Lai, a province in the Central Highlands.
The accident happened at 13:45 on August 17, and the passenger bus was travelling on National Highway 14 from Gia Lai to Dak Lak, another province in the Central Highlands.
When the bus moved to Tao Ko village of Chu Puh district, it collided with a motorbike in the same direction. The bus turned over close to the roadside of National Highway 14.
Local authorities said 18 people were injured at the scene and they were taken to a hospital nearby for emergency treatment. Some were said to have broken arms and legs.
Particularly, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries.
Relevant forces were dispatched to the scene to regulate traffic and take injured people to hospital.
The authorities launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
