Deputy FM outlines press development goals for 2025
VOV.VN - In a recent media interview at the start of the new year, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang has affirmed that in 2025, the press will continue its innovation and creativity in the new era.
Deputy FM Hang emphasized the development goals for the press in 2025, which coincides with the 100th anniversary of Vietnamese revolutionary press. According to her, the press will continue to innovate and develop in the digital era, reflecting the Party and State’s policies and guidelines while promoting Vietnam’s image on the international stage.
The Vietnamese diplomat confirmed that the press is not only a tool for transmitting information about the country but also plays a vital role in protecting the ideological foundation of the Party, refuting false narratives, and promoting Vietnam’s achievements in the renovation and international integration process.
In the conversation, she also mentioned that the press needs new and creative approaches in content creation to make it more accessible and engaging to the audience. This includes producing short videos, applying communication technology, and increasing public participation through social media. She particularly underscored the importance of developing the press in a streamlined and effective direction.
Amid significant national events in 2025, such as the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 50th anniversary of national reunification, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the nation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she hopes the press will convey positive messages about a developing, prosperous Vietnam that is making positive contributions to global peace and development.
She also encouraged media agencies to stay proactive in creativity and efficiency in content development, applying new technologies, and producing media products that meet the needs of the international audience. On the eve of the new year, she extended her best wishes for health, prosperity, and happiness to reporters, editors as well as readers at home and abroad.
