Vietnamese leaders congratulate China on National Day
VOV.VN - Top Vietnamese leaders have extended messages of congratulations to their Chinese counterparts on the 71th National Day of China (October 1).
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan respectively sent congratulations to General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Li Zhanshu.
In their messages, the Party and State leaders of Vietnam congratulated China on its achievements over the past 71 years, expressing their confidence that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping being the core, the Chinese people will continue reaping great achievements during the cause of reform, opening and socialism building with Chinese characteristics.
The Vietnamese Party, State and people always place importance on developing healthy and stable relations between the two nations, they said, while affirming Vietnam’s readiness to join hands with China to step up equal and mutually-beneficial cooperation, properly deal with outstanding problems, promote the stable and sustainable development of the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership as a contribution to regional and global peace, stability, and development in the region and the world as a whole.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also extended greetings to Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
