Vietnamese and Ethiopian PMs tour Tran Quoc Pagoda in Hanoi
VOV.VN - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Ethiopian counterpart Abiy Ahmed Ali along with their spouses visited Hanoi's Tran Quoc Pagoda on April 17 morning following a breakfast and lakeside stroll around West Lake and Truc Bach Lake.

The Government leader introduced the rich history of Tran Quoc Pagoda to the Ethiopian PM and his wife, saying the worship place is considered the oldest pagoda in Hanoi at nearly 1,500 years old, as well as a vital Buddhist centre of the formal royal citadel of Hanoi during the Ly and Tran dynasties (1009-1400).
Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed Ali and his wife expressed their joy in their first visit to Vietnam, witnessing the remarkable development and the vibrant atmosphere and life of Hanoi, a thousand-year-old cultural capital, as well as a heroic and peaceful city.

He extended an invitation to his Vietnamese counterpart and his wife, and other Vietnamese leaders, to visit Ethiopia with the aim of fostering continued bilateral cooperation in the future.
Earlier, the two PMs and their spouses enjoyed coffee at a coffee shop on Hanoi's most beautiful and poetic Thanh Nien street, nestled between West Lake and Truc Bach Lake.
Chinh invited his distinguished guests to sample Hanoi’s typical delicious dishes and introduced Vietnamese culinary culture.
