Lt. Gen. Tuan asked Trong and Ngan to use their experiences to assist the peacekeeping centre in training officers for UN peacekeeping activities.
The centre should also make thorough preparations for future engagement in similar activities, he added.
In addition to the UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan, Vietnam has assigned three officers to another mission in the Central African Republic.
