Vietnam – France decentralized cooperation conference slated for April 13
VOV.VN - The Hanoi People's Committee has recently unveiled a plan to organize the 12th conference on decentralized cooperation between Vietnam and France.
The conference, according to the municipal administration, is an important foreign political event that will also celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations and 10 years of the strategic partnership between the two countries in 2023.
The event is expected to contribute to popularizing the cultural tradition, the potential and socio-economic development achievements of both Hanoi and Vietnam, as well as the Vietnamese Party and State’s guidelines and policies regarding foreign affairs and international integration.
The conference is slated to be held from April 13 to 15 and will also focus on strengthening cooperation among Vietnamese and French localities so as to accelerate recovery, as well as sustainable and comprehensive development in the post-COVID period.
The gathering is expected to bring together more than 800 guests, including 500 Vietnamese and over 300 French delegates.
