Vietnamese and Chinese experts reached some agreements on co-operation for co-development at sea during their fourth round of negotiations which ended on March 15 in the central city of Danang.
The two sides agreed to continue implementing the common perceptions of high-ranking leaders from both countries and comply with the agreed basic principles guiding the settlement of issues at sea between Vietnam and China to discuss cooperation for co-development.
This was in accordance with international laws, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
The discussions were reportedly held in a frank and open manner, where both sides clearly stated their views on cooperation for co-development at sea.
