Vietnam attends ASEAN-EU Senior Officials Meeting
VOV.VN - A Vietnam delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Dung attended the 24th Senior Officials Meeting of ASEAN and the European Union (EU) which began on July 27 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The meeting aims to bolster ASEAN – EU cooperation in trade, sustainable development, climate change, people-to-people exchange and security.
Delegates will discuss preparations for the ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference (PMC) with the EU in Manila next month and activities to mark the 40th anniversary of ASEAN – EU Dialogue Relations this year.
Through the meeting, ASEAN and EU relations are expected to be strengthened in a wider variety of fields such as trade, sustainable development, climate change, people-to-people exchange and security.
The event is designed to step up ASEAN – EU cooperation, as well as celebrate the 40th anniversary of ASEAN – EU Dialogue Relations.
