Singapore DPM Teo hails strong ties with Vietnam
VOV.VN - Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean on September 13 lauded the strong ties between Singapore and Vietnam during an official visit to Ho Chi Minh City.
The maiden VSIP project is a 500-hectare industrial development zone located in the Thuan An District of Binh Duong Province.
Mr Teo was warmly received in HCM City by the Chairman of People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong.
Singapore is one of Vietnam's largest investors, with more than US$38 billion worth of foreign direct investments in the country as of April 2016.
Mr Teo is accompanied by foreign ministry officials as well as MPs Liang Eng Hwa and Cedric Foo.
