President receives Cuban chief judge
President Truong Tan Sang has said that cooperation and experience sharing between the judicial sectors of Vietnam and Cuba is crucial and significant.
Sang made the remarks at a meeting with visiting President of the Cuban People’s Supreme Court Ruben Remigio Ferro in Hanoi on September 10, stressing the important role of the judicial sector in socio-economic management in each country.
He also expressed his delight at the effective cooperation between the two countries in all fields, and affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnam will always stand side by side with their Cuban counterparts during their cause of national construction and defence.
Despite the changing global situation, the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba will stay unchanged, the President said.
He said he hopes that Cuba will successfully implement the Resolution of the sixth Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba on national development.
Ruben Remigio Ferro said Cuba is proud to have Vietnam as a loyal friend in its national construction and defence process.
He briefed his host on the major conditions in his country, especially the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the sixth Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.
During his visit, leaders of the judicial sectors of both countries will swap their experiences in building and completing national legislative systems, contributing to the successful construction of a society with justice and equality for all citizens.
