VOV.VN - Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang had a busy day two schedule in China on May 12 that included a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, at which they reached consensus on deepening bilateral all-round strategic cooperation.
President Quang starts the day attending a Vietnam-China trade dialogue held at a four-star hotel in Beijing. |
Later in the afternoon, the Vietnam President meets with Zhang Dejiang, Chair of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China. |
At the meeting, President Quang agrees with his hosts that cooperation between the two legislative bodies should be broadened. |
Later in the day, President meets with Yu Zhengsheng, Chair of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. |
The President suggests that the two sides continue giving effect to mechanisms for boosting exchanges and cooperation between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. |
Next, President Quang meets with Liu Yunshan, member of the Politburo Standing Committee and Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee’s Secretariat. |
Followed in quick succession by a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang. |
At the meeting the two leaders and delegates representing both countries reach consensus on deepening bilateral all-round strategic cooperation. |
After the meeting with the Chinese Premier, President Quang visits with Li Xiaolin, President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. |
Followed by a courtesy visit to the Vietnam Embassy in China. |
