PM Phuc welcomes national football team’s head coach

At a reception in Hanoi on February 19 for the head coach and his wife, PM Phuc hailed the team’s recent achievements as well as Park’s contributions to national football over the past few years, while voicing his hope that the coach will make further contributions to the Vietnamese football’s development in the near future. 

Park, in turn, said the team has received great support from ministries, agencies, and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) over the years and pledged his best efforts to satisfy Vietnamese fans’ expectations. 

The government leader said he hopes that the coach would make every effort for the team and asked the VFF to report all of Park’s suggestions to him as soon as possible. He also wished that Park would reap greater success with the Vietnamese football in the time to come.
