PM Phuc highlights huge potential for broader cooperation with Prahova

VOV.VN - There is great potential for cooperation between Prahova and Vietnamese provinces, particularly in fields of the Romanian locality’s strength, such as tourism, education-training, oil and gas, agriculture and forestry, which are in line with the priorities in Vietnam’s cooperation with Romania.            

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc made the remarks at a working session with Prahova’s governor Ioana Madalina Lupea, as part of his visit to Prahova, a county with dynamic economic development in Romania, on April 14 (local time).

The government leader expressed his wish for stronger partnership between Vietnamese and Romanian localities while hailing the ties between localities of the two countries with the memorandum of understanding signed between Hoa Binh and Prahova, Ben Tre and Tulchea, Da Nang and Timisoara, and Lao Cai and Hunedoara.

Governor Ioana Madalina Lupea welcomed the Vietnamese PM to the county, and informed her guest that the county’s authorities have worked with the Chamber of Commerce and the Vietnamese Embassy in Romania on the organization of business workshops and meetings to introduce Prahova’s strength and opportunities for economic, tourism, education partnership as well as cross-cultural exchange to Vietnamese businesses and localities.

She affirmed that Prahova’s desire to expand its cooperation with Vietnamese localities.

PM Phuc is currently on an official visit to Romania from April 14 at the invitation of Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila.
