PM Chinh to attend 2021 Global Trade in Services Summit in China
VOV.VN - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is set to attend and deliver a speech at the 2021 Global Trade in Services Summit via video on the evening of September 2 following an invitation made by Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping.
This marks a major activity within the framework of the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) that has been co-organised by the Ministry of Commerce of China, with the CIFTIS scheduled to held from September 2 to September 7 in Beijing.
With the even running with the theme of "Digitalisation opens the future, Services promote development", leaders of will focus on recognising and evaluating the importance of the digitisation for the socio-economic development of each country. This will be done in the context of the continued complicated issues relating to the development of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world.
PM Chinh's speech will highlight Vietnamese views on the development of the digital economy, digital technology, and international co-operation in this field.
CIFTIS2021 represents the largest event of its kind and will feature the participation of more than 700 enterprises, covering related conferences and forums. This is also the first time that Vietnamese businesses have taken part in the event via both offline and online formats.
