PM arrives in New Delhi for ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his high-ranking delegation arrived at Palam airport, New Delhi on January 24 to attend the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit. 

The PM and his wife were greeted at the airport by the Indian Minister of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Indian ambassador to Vietnam Parvathaneni Harish, representatives from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Vietnamese Ambassador to India Ton Sinh Thanh, Vietnam’s Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung, and Vietnamese embassy staff.

According to the working agenda, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc is scheduled to  to have talks with his India counterpart Narendra Modi and meet with the Vietnamese embassy staff in India.

On January 25, PM Phuc is set to attend a special retreat between ASEAN leaders and the Indian Prime Minister, and participate in an ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit and related events.

He will have a series of bilateral meetings with the heads of ASEAN countries and representatives of major Asian and global groups.
