Party leader To Lam attends Central Public Security Party Committee meeting
VOV.VN - A first-quarter meeting of the Central Public Security Party Committee was held in Hanoi on the morning of March 31, where Party General Secretary To Lam delivered directives.
Also present were State President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.
Opening the meeting, General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, said the session reviews the quality, progress and effectiveness of key tasks, sets out key tasks and solutions for the second quarter, and implements the Party chief’s directives on the Public Security Forces taking the lead in carrying out the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and its action programme.
He said the meeting also aims to implement the Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Central Public Security Party Committee, while agreeing on policies and measures to turn challenges into opportunities and firmly safeguard national security and interests in all circumstances.
At the meeting, delegates will discuss and give opinions on reports on the committee’s key tasks in the first quarter of 2026, as well as directions and major tasks for the coming period.
They will also review public security work in the first quarter and key tasks for the second quarter of 2026, as well as reports on issues handled by the Standing Board of the Central Public Security Party Committee between sessions.
