Party leader praises national unity in Hoa Binh
Vietnam’s current achievements can be attributed to great national unity, says Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
Mr Trong made this statement on November 13 while meeting with ethnic people in Bac Son commune, Kim Boi district, during his visit to the northern province of Hoa Binh to mark the 81st anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF).
“Great unity is to mobilize people from all social strata under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Only when we are united and have the principal aim, have we recorded the present-day achievements,” he said.
The Party leader praised local people’s efforts to reduce poverty and build new rural areas in Hoa Binh.
He asked the province to use its advantages to develop forestry and boost agricultural production to stabilize people’s living conditions.
Mr Trong also emphasized the need to preserve traditional cultural values, improve healthcare services and protect the environment to work towards sustainable development.
He highlighted the importance role of unity among the people and encouraged them to participate in the VFF's movement to build a new cultural lifestyle in residential areas.
