VOV.VN - A press centre designed specifically for the 13th National Party Congress was launched on January 22 at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi.

The opening ceremony is attended by senior Party and State leaders, including Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong.

Approximately 500 domestic reporters and technicians, in addition to over 60 correspondents from foreign news outlets, have registered to work at the press centre. More than 60 reporters have also signed up to make coverage of the event online.

Deputy Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education, Head of the Press Center Le Manh Hung says the centre has been equipped with modern tools to support media workers in accomplishing their tasks.

In addition to the launch of the press centre, the National Convention Centre also opened a book exhibition.
