New Vietnamese Ambassador pledges best efforts to boost ties with Thailand

VOV.VN - Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Pham Viet Hung presented his letter of letter to Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua at a ceremony held on June 22.

The Vietnamese diplomat pledged his best efforts to contribute to fostering the strategic partnership and close friendship between the two nations.

Hung also showed his honour to be appointed as the Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand amid the flourishing bilateral relations, which are set to be elevated to a new level soon. He also expressed his confidence in the strong development of Vietnam - Thailand ties in a multitude of fields.

The King of Thailand, in turn, applauded the good friendship between the two nations and hoped that both countries will continue to further enhance ties across multiple areas at all levels, from bilaterally and regionally to multilaterally.

The King said he believes that the bilateral friendship will continue to be solidified for the benefits of the two countries' people, thereby contributing to peace and prosperity in the region and the world.

He said he and the Thai Government will offer optimal conditions for the ambassador to successfully fulfill his duties.
