NA to convene second plenary session on October 20
VOV.VN - The second plenary session of the 15th National Assembly (NA) is scheduled to open on October 20 at the NA House in Hanoi.
Before the opening ceremony, various leaders of the Party and State, along with Vietnam Fatherland Front and NA deputies, will pay tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum in the centre of the capital.
Following that, legislators will then hold a preparatory meeting, during which they will listen to a speech given by NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue. This is in addition to a report on collecting, explaining, and revising the draft agenda of the second plenum delivered by Bui Van Cuong, member of the NA Standing Committee, NA secretary general, and chairman of the NA Office.
They will then proceed to discuss and vote in order to adopt the agenda for the second plenum.
The opening session of the second plenum is set to begin at 9 a.m. and will be broadcast live by Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV1), Vietnam Television (VTV1), and National Assembly Television.
