Mexican Labour Party chief extols Vietnam's renewal achievements

VOV.VN - General Secretary of the Labour Party of Mexico (PT) Alberto Anaya Gutierrez has expressed his admiration for the Communist Party and people of Vietnam, largely due to their previous struggles for national independence.

The comments made by the Mexican politician came during his recent visit to the Acupuncture Center in Mexico City, during which he outlined his appreciation for the contributions made by Vietnamese acupuncturists for the cause of providing health care for the Mexican people.

The PT leader also went on to praise the working spirit displayed by the doctors of the Central Acupuncture Hospital of Vietnam, all of whom did not back down from the difficulties caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Instead, Vietnamese medical experts continue to stand side by side with their Mexican colleagues in the struggle to protect the health of citizens.

Gutierrez also went on to congratulate and thank the Central Acupuncture Hospital Management Board for maintaining effective co-operation activities with the PT over the past 20 years, whilst stating he was looking forward to further strengthening and expanding upon the fruitful partnership.

Furthermore, he highlighted the successes achieved in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic as a new symbol of solidarity between the Communist Party, the people of Vietnam, and the nation’s medical experts. On behalf of doctors from the Central Acupuncture Hospital, Dr. Ho Quang Minh extended his sincere thanks to the PT General Secretary, promising to continue working harder in the spirit of friendship between the two countries.
