Leaders of Vietnam, Laos offer incense at Son La relic site

VOV.VN - National Assembly Chairs Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan of Vietnam and Pany Yathotou of Laos offered incense today (July 7) at the Historical Relic Site of Regiment 52 in the town of Moc Chau in northern Son La Province.

The two chairwomen and their delegations visit the Site as part of activities marking the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two neighbouring Southeast Asian countries.

The relic site in the Moc Chau district – the regrouping place of Tay Tien Regime – pays tribute to Tay Tien soldiers.

The 5,000sq.m complex consists of a traditional house, a memorial monument and a house of steles, among others.

The two National Assembly leaders sign the visitors’ book, with a note saying that the relic site is a symbol of the Vietnam-Laos special relationship aiming to educate younger generations of the patriotic tradition.

On the occasion, the two leaders take time to visit a dairy of Moc Chau Joint Stock Company in Son La Province.
