Indian PM begins Vietnam visit

VOV.VN - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begun his official visit to Vietnam September 2-3 at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

On September 3, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted a formal welcoming ceremony Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his delegation.
After the ceremony, two Prime Ministers visited the Late President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house at the President Palace, where he was working from 1958 to 1969. Two leaders started their talks after visiting relic sites at the President Palace.
After that, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed the signing ceremony for cooperation across a variety of fields.
A press briefing was held the same day to announce the outcome of the talks.
