Hanoi hosts ASEAN Air Forces’ Education and Training Working Group
VOV.VN - The seventh version of the ASEAN Air Forces’ Education and Training Working Group (AAFET-WG 7) opened in Hanoi on October 6, with Colonel La Dai Phong, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Defence-Air Force under the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence, chairing the event.
The defence and air force attachés of nine ASEAN countries based in the nation are taking part in the online event in order to prepare for the 17th ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference (AACC-17).
During the course of the two-day event, delegates are set to discuss a range of issues, whilst also comparing notes on and adopting regulations relating to the humanitarian assistance and disaster relief of ASEAN’s Air Forces.
In addition, participants will exchange views on flight safety assurances and working plans in order to prepare for field drills in Thailand next year which will focus on providing humanitarian aid and assistance.
