French President to visit Vietnam

(VOV) - At a reception for incoming Ambassador to France Nguyen Ngoc Son on January 29 French President Francois Holland accepted an invitation to pay an official state visit to Vietnam in the near future.

At the event, the French President hailed Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements over recent years. He said he hopes the relations between Vietnam and France will continue to grow and flourish in the future.

Ambassador Son in turn assured President Francois Holland that Vietnam has always attached great importance to developing bilateral ties with France and extended an invitation on behalf of President Sang to visit.

President Holland accepted the invitation with pleasure and asked relevant officials to make the necessary arrangements for a visit in the coming time.
