President To Lam visits President Ho’s Memorial in Tra Vinh
VOV.VN - President To Lam, who is currently on a working trip to Tra Vinh province, visited and planted a tree at President Ho Chi Minh’s Memorial in Long Duc commune of Tra Vinh province on July 6.
At President Ho Chi Minh’s Memorial, the President and his entourage in the delegation respectfully laid a wreath and burned incense to express their gratitude to the late President who founded the Communist Party of Vietnam and led the Vietnamese revolution from victory to victory.
The Memorial not only shows the sacred feelings and strong hearts of Southerners in general, and the people of Tra Vinh in particular, towards the beloved leader of the nation, but also is a symbol of the strength of great solidarity, heroic struggle, and resilience of Vietnamese army and people, he wrote in the scrapbook.
On July 5, President To Lam visited families of social policy beneficiaries in Tra Vinh city and Chau Thanh district of Tra Vinh province. The President thoughtfully inquired about the health of family members and wished them joy, happiness and success.
The President appreciated their contributions to the national cause of national construction and defense, and hoped that the social policy beneficiaries would continue to promote revolutionary traditions and join hands with local authorities in building an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland.
