Party leader pays Tet visit to Hanoi Party Committee, administration
VOV.VN - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong paid a visit to the Hanoi Party Committee and administration on lunar New Year’s Eve.
He praised the outstanding achievements that the Hanoi Party Committee, administration and people recorded in 2021, noting that Hanoi made a practical contribution to the country’s major achievements during the year.
The city introduced bold prevention and measures to control COVID-19, including accelerating a vaccination campaign resulting in high vaccination coverage. It adopted urgent solutions to remove difficulties, recover the local economy and ensure social security.
Its total state budget revenue by the end of 2021 reached VND264.54 trillion, 12.32% higher than estimated; the industrial production index rose 4.78%; and the material and spiritual life of rural people has been significantly improved.
As 2022 is the pivotal year for realizing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the General Secretary requested the Hanoi Party Committee, administration and people to make a greater effort to overcome difficulties and reap greater successes in socio-economic development.
