Party General Secretary To Lam commemorates President Ho Chi Minh in Nghe An
VOV.VN - Party General Secretary To Lam offered flowers and incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh in the late president’s native village of Kim Lien in Nam Dan district of Nghe An province on December 29.
The tribute was held at Chung Son Temple, the ancestral shrine of President Ho Chi Minh, and the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site. It took place as Vietnam is preparing to welcome the New Year 2025 and celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – 2025).
At the Kim Liên Special National Relic Site, Party leader TO Lam and his entourage expressed profound gratitude and respect for President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of the Party and people, and a hero of national liberation.
The delegation honoured his lifelong dedication and sacrifice for Vietnam’s independence, peace, and the happiness of its people and humanity worldwide.
The General Secretary and other Party and State leaders reaffirmed Vietnam’s commitment to promoting unity, maximizing opportunities, and mobilizing resources to achieve comprehensive and breakthrough development for Vietnam. They pledged to continue learning from President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, ethics, and exemplary style.
Earlier, the delegation visited Chung Son Temple, the ancestral shrine of President Ho Chi Minh in Kim Lien village, offering flowers and incense in tribute to the late great president and his relatives.
They vowed to uphold Ho Chi Minh’s legacy by performing their duties with excellence, contributing to the cause of national development and defense, while striving to make Vietnam more dignified and beautiful as the late president aspired during his lifetime.
The same day, the delegation visited the memorial site of Party General Secretary Le Hong Phong in Hung Thong commune of Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province.
They paid tribute to General Secretary Le Hong Phong and other heroic martyrs for their extraordinary sacrifices for national liberation, peace, and the people’s happiness.
Le Hong Phong was a member of the Executive Committee of the Communist International, a former General Secretary of the Indochinese Communist Party, and a close disciple of President Ho Chi Minh.
