Party elite examines national key issues
VOV.VN - The 2021 - 2026 Party Central Committee opened its fourth conference in Hanoi on October 4 to discuss a range of key issues relating to national development.
Key Party members held a minute of silence to commemorate the victims who lost their lives during the ongoing fight against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
During the four-day sitting, the Party members are set to discuss and give their opinions on the COVID-19 fight and its prevention and control measures moving into the new context.
The prolonged COVID-19 outbreak has reached its peak and is now showing clear signs of abating in terms of daily new infections and the overall death toll. Authorities are considering changing the zero COVID-19 strategy so the country can live safely with the virus.
The Party members will also spend time reviewing the implementation of socio-economic development tasks for the year, and examine tasks for 2022 along with budget estimations.
They will also look at a salary reform policy for State employees in addition to the ongoing Party building and rectification campaign.
