National Party Congress webpage makes debut

The webpage at daihoi13.dangcongsan.vn provides official information about the upcoming 13th national congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam in six languages, namely Vietnamese, English, French, Chinese, Spanish and Russia.

Addressing the ceremony, Tran Quoc Vuong, permanent member of the Party’s Secretariat, appreciated the Commission for Information and Education, the Communist Party of Vietnam website and relevant agencies for their efforts to develop the webpage in just a couple of months before the start of the congress.

To make the webpage operate efficiently, web developers need to help readers understand the significance and importance of the local and national Party Congresses, the Party’s stance on national construction, defence and development, while rejecting wrong views by hostile forces that take advantage of the congress to sabotage the Party, State and regime, said Vuong.

He requested that designated agencies develop the webpage into a forum to exchange, receive and respond to readers’ opinions about the local and national Party Congresses.  

At the ceremony, Vo Van Thuong, Head of the Commission for Information and Education, also proposed that media agencies increase communication campaigns to cater to the need for information about the congress of the public as well as Vietnamese citizens living abroad and international friends.
